Dan Henderson
Dan comes to BSG with 18 years of experience driving growth in software and technology companies, and over the past 13 years has been a founder or early employee at four startups. With extensive leadership experience and expertise in business development, product marketing, and product strategy, Dan has experience across both venture-backed startups as well as large enterprise organizations. Dan most recently ran business development and strategy for a venture-backed healthcare startup, BeClose. Before that, he ran all aspects of marketing for FastSoft, a Los Angeles-based venture-backed cloud software company spun out of the California Institute of Technology, which was acquired by Akamai (NASDAQ: AKAM). Prior to FastSoft, Dan founded and ran Bhavan Media, a digital media company that streams Indian TV for Indian ex-patriots living in the U.S. Before that, he founded and ran i-Vantage, an IT services business, which he successfully sold in 2003. Previously, he spent several years as an IT consultant at top-tier consulting firms including Deloitte & Touche. Dan has been published in multiple times and has been a panelist and featured guest at numerous industry events. He has also held several leadership positions within his community and presently serves on the Board of a national non-profit, City Hall Fellows, and is the Falls Church Commissioner of the Fairfax Area Commission on Aging. Dan earned his M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a B.A. from Oberlin College.
