David Reich

 

David comes to BSG with over 25 years of experience in technology and business processes, working with organizations sized from 5 to 50,000. In that time, David has served technical and executive roles including CTO, COO and CIO as well as executive strategic roles. He has been leading organizations and projects ranging from technical to business and organizational growth, bringing his vision, strategy and execution abilities, while developing technology innovation, custom solutions, business process and organizational change, building and managing customer relationships.

 

David started in the technical career path working for IBM and has grown through line and executive management and held a broad range of positions across the company that have included work with marketing, customer technical, and executive teams with P&L, product delivery and customer service responsibilities. Most recently, he has been working with clients across a number of industries guiding business transformation, industry leadership and product strategy, development teams, management growth, culture shifts and business modernization. He is currently advising several startup ventures including a MassChallenge finalist as well as a YCombinator winner. He continues to work as a mentor and judge at Mass Challenge and other startup accelerators.

 

David has been an often-requested speaker at industry conferences worldwide, has authored several books and trade articles. David holds over 20 patents with numerous others pending. David received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer science from the State University of New York at Albany, with additional coursework in business. He has continued his education through continuing education programs such as from Columbia University and has lectured at Harvard University.
