Harold Picken

 

Harold Picken is a skilled healthcare strategist, innovator, and executive with extensive senior experience in both clinical organizations and health plans working with mission driven, innovative companies to improve quality and safety of care, and to create or improve products and services which meaningfully improve health and quality of life. Presently, Harold serves as a consultant for Healthcare Strategy and Innovation Advisors, advising healthcare organization working on strategic development and contracting strategy. Harold has held several high level executive positions within the health care industry, previously serving as Vice President of Health Operations at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island, Inc. where he led a companywide strategic transformation to become an Integrated Health Management Organization. He is an active member in several professional associations as well as local boards and was recognized as a Top Leader in Disease Management in 2008. Harold received his MPH from Harvard School of Public Health, his MD from Case Western Reserve School of Medicine and holds a BA in chemistry from Oberlin College.
