Meredith Sivick
Meredith Sivick is a Principal User Experience Designer with over 20 years of experience designing software applications for various platforms. Her background brings a broad depth of knowledge in User Interaction / Experience Design, Information Architecture, Project Management, Business & Requirements Analysis, Visual Design, and Usability Engineering/Testing. She uses her expertise and background in cognitive psychology and understanding of human behaviors to design software applications. Meredith has designed web based applications for companies such as AOL, SAIC, Sprint, K12, and the Gannett Healthcare Group. As a consultant for SAIC, she led the user experience design for a prototype system for the US Patent and Trademark Office’s patent system. As a result of the SAIC teams effort, including her design, SAIC was awarded a portion of the $200 million dollar contract to build the Patent End to End System. As a consultant for Focus on U! she designed new navigation concepts and User Interface prototypes for the Institute of Education Sciences. Her design was tested against the original website and score significantly higher with end users (a 4 point increase in user satisfaction)! She holds a BA from The University of Texas at Austin and participated in a Master’s Degree program at George Mason University.
